Q: 2.0Ah or 2.5Ah?

A: NI-CD cells are being phased out by the industry as they contain Cadmium. Larger capacity NI-CD cells are simply not being readily produced. The slide in type Snap On batteries can be recelled with 2.5Ah cells but these are a special order only. The older push in type batteries work well with the 2.0Ah recelling we offer giving you reliable power with little noticeable compromise in runtime.

Q: Can I have NI-MH cells?

A: Unfortunatly not, these Snap On batteries are powered by NI-CD cells, the Snap On charger does not support NI-MH. Beware of people offering NI-MH cell rebuilds as these are not stable and can be dangerously overcharged!

We only use Top Quality A Grade cells in our refurbishment process. We replace ALL the cells in your pack leaving it like new. Our work is carried out using specialist equipment and is backed by a 12 month warranty!
